We have a state of the art facility but it is our employees that separate us from our competition. We are looking for a quality driven Engineering Technician to join our expanding team! This role is responsible for working with Engineering to coordinate all production and post processing activities. Strong problem solving skills are needed in specific areas to include, but not limited to, assembly, laser marking/welding, post processing and process improvements. Engineering Technician Responsibilities: Troubleshoot current processes Work with engineering to improve processes that are not meeting expected efficiencies or that yield high scrap rates. Analyze processes to identify the root cause with engineering and production employees Work with engineering to develop a written procedure and/or fixtures that would improve the process. Some levels of inspection may be required to identify the root cause of assembly and/or process issues. Support engineering with new projects Develop processes, tooling and fixturing used to produce products Establish and develop assembly processes and procedures for assembly Develop assembly processes and fixtures with engineering (DPM's) Troubleshoot assembly issues, interferences and customer requirements. Work with quality coordinators to develop capable and certified processes to support and maintain a continuous flow of quality products to our customer Support actions for implementing cost reduction projects with engineering and production employees.
