Honeywell Machinist - Engineering Technician I in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operation and maintenance of the following equipment to fabricate high quality hardware: Manual mill, Manual Lathe, Drill press, Grinder, etc.

  • Create, repair and modify jigs and tools

  • Fabrication parts directly from 2D drawings.

  • Fabricate, maintain, repair and/or alter mechanical assemblies and system using both manual and automated machinery following technical requirements, specifications, etc.

    U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or GED

WE VALUE

  • Previous work experience as a machinist, tool designer, etc.

  • Ability to interpretate standards, engineering specs and geometric dimensioning and tolerance

  • Existing experience and familiarity with inertial navigations devices and systems

  • Associates Degree or equivalent certification in machine tool technology, machining, engineering or related field.

  • Experience with TIG/MIG welding, small parts assembly

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office)

  • Ability to work independently, while making sound technical decisions on objectives and assignments
