World Report as a top children's hospital. Please visit . Department Overview The Float Team provides a valuable resource to the entire hospital system. Members of the team are able to apply specific skill sets to a number of departments and will serve as a fill-in when a shortage is identified. Position Summary Provides safe patient care as delegated by licensed nursing staff and maintains equipment and supplies per unit standard. CSA Float team, coverage forall floors. Qualifications Completion of one clinical course of an RN program OR listed on the state's Nursing Assistant Registry upon hire date. This requirement does not need to be maintained throughout employment and is not required if subsequently transferring into another CSA position. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Education * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience * One year of previous Nursing Assistant experience or equivalent experience preferred. Skills and Abilities * Proficient communication, critical thinking, and prioritization skills required. * Strong organizational skills. * Excellent customer service skills. * Must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English to perform functions of the position. * Skills in basic computer operation.
