People * Customers * Trust RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform start-up, shutdown and normal operation of the Boiler which includes routine checks, chemical analysis and adjustments, and the operation of the boiler on all fuel sources. Complete log entries of the machine and other necessary reports. Problem solve when issues with the machine and support equipment arise. Make starch for use by the Corrugator. Operate the wastewater system. Preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED. Licensed as Boiler First Class Engineer Grade B or above. Experience in operation and basic maintenance for Boilers Strong safety background and good attendance record. Works well in a team environment. Ability to work 1st shift, including overtime and weekends. Strong mechanical aptitude and be good communicator.
