Position Summary The primary role of the Associate Wealth Advisor provides support to the Wealth Advisors and Senior Wealth Advisors in delivering "Total Wealth Advisory" services to clients. Total Wealth Advisory is a comprehensive service that revolves around a personal financial plan and includes advice on all aspects of a client's financial needs. The Associate Wealth Advisor should have basic knowledge in financial planning, tax, cash flow planning, retirement planning, investment management, risk management and estate planning techniques. The Associate Wealth Advisor works collaboratively in serving clients as part of a team. Summary of Work Activities and Accountabilities: The below functions reflect the general details necessary to describe the essential work activities and accountabilities of this position and are not all inclusive. Other activities may be assigned. Create, deliver and monitor financial plans Prepare analysis and assist Wealth Advisor formulate recommendations for investment management, personal and business tax, risk management, cash flow and estate plans Prepare materials and present in client meetings Collaborate with Wealth Advisor to make investment recommendations Assist in monitoring client investment portfolios Assist in implementing insurance and annuity products Oversee operations activity such as transaction processing (i.e. fees, trades and money movement) Responsible for achieving client satisfaction and loyalty through delivering excellent service Minimum Required Experience, Education and Certifications Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field 0-1+ years of experience in financial services CFP Certification highly preferred Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Travel: This position could require frequent local travel to/from client sites and may require occasional non-local or overnight travel for client visits, training, meetings and/or other business-related purposes.
