Job Purpose: The purpose of the role is to sell long term service contracts and short-term service solutions for our filtration systems and equipment. This successfully through our vast portfolio of end user clients. To be successful in this position, you will be a self-motivated and target-driven individual with proven sales experience. Along with a strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills, you will have a competitive desire and drive to succeed and gain results. Key Responsibilities: Ensure sales and gross profit targets are achieved and exceeded. Maintain and develop strong customer relationships, ensuring customer inquiries are dealt with efficiently as well as developing and maintaining effective relationships with our clients. Desire to identify and understand end-user application needs. Utilize the current Donaldson network to open new revenue streams with existing accounts. You are capable to prepare and present sales presentations. Ensure that all commercial aspects of sales transactions are in the best interest of the company. Your Profile: The successful Area Sales Engineer - Norway, Sweden & Denmark must be self-motivated and a target-driven individual, with proven sales experience. A proven self-starter with the confidence and entrepreneurial flair to work in an autonomous role. Desired background: Commercial or Technical Degree or equivalent through experience Minimum 5 years of experience in Service Sales of industrial equipment (For example valves, pumps, filters, machines, compressors, ...) Driven to provide a high level of customer service and build strong working relationships. Knowledge of air movement and ducted systems would be an advantage. IT Literate specifically in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Previous experience in supporting a sales team and maintaining a CRM system. Excellent written and verbal communication skills - English & Norwegian fluent. You are required to have a valid driving license to enable you to attend customer sites and support the sales team.
