2025 Student Intern - Electrical Job Locations US-MN-Minneapolis ID 2024-2944 # of Openings 1 Category Engineering - Electrical Overview: We have an excellent opportunity for a college or graduate school student for a paid summer internship in the summer of 2025. The summer internship is typically 12 weeks in length beginning on or before June 2, 2025 through mid-August (depending on your schedule). In this role you will: The summer internship offers exposure to a variety of engineering experiences and tasks including, but not limited to, supporting aesthetically pleasing lighting designs with technically competent analysis, designing the power distribution and/or lighting design for commercial, institutional or healthcare facilities, performing electrical engineering design calculations, researching code issues and working with City, State and County officials, as well as analyzing reports, drawings, tests, and other data to plan and design work, using engineering and design software to complete your work. You will need to have: Applicants must be pursuing an engineering degree in Architectural Engineering (with an emphasis on electrical systems) or a degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program, and must be entering junior year or higher of undergraduate degree or currently enrolled in grad school. Knowledge of electrical analysis software (i.e. ETAP, Easy Power, Dapper / Captor) and AGI and/or Visual Pro required. Knowledge of Revit is preferred. GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred. Salary Information: The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
