Overnight Residential Counselor-West Elmont
Our West Nassau Community Residence for adults who suffer from persistent mental illness is seeking an Part-Time, Overnight Residential Counselor. The residential program assists its residents in learning the skills necessary to move on to a more independent living environment.
Responsibilities
Nightly medication management count.
Maintain cleanliness, maintenance, and upkeep of the house during shift.
Maintain all necessary agency and regulatory paperwork.
Ensure that the program and the residence are operating in compliance with all regulatory and funding requirements including conducting security checks and fire drills.
Provide counseling and supervision to residents as needed.
Ensure the Medication Management and Training procedures are properly followed.
- Qualifications
HS diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 1-year of experience working with adolescents in a residential setting.
Valid NYS Driver's License
Additional Information
Schedule: Friday and Saturday 11pm-7am
Location: Elmont
Salary: $19.23/hr
