This role requires on-site support. Travel between sites within Nassau County. MUST HAVE CAR 

Seeking a technical support professional who has strong experience in telecom, voice and hardware to assist in deployment, activations, upgrading and turnover of phone systems. This role is based in Long Island and requires travel from site to site within Nassau County, all very close to each other. A car will be necessary. Work will be performed during regular business hours but might require occasional nights and weekends.

Firm is in the process of migrating its entire legacy voice infrastructure to a new VOIP platform. They seek a mid-level Voip Tech, with 3+ years of experience in activation, deployment, implementation, and maintenance of an enterprise Cisco telephony environment. The candidate will work with the voice team on technology products and services to ensure smooth operations as well as migrations from legacy PBX systems to a new Cisco UC environment. Strong documentation and verbal communication skills.

Any experience in Cisco VOIP, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco server support is preferred. Daily tasks could include: programming phones, swapping out defective phones, troubleshooting circuits, diagnosing problems in phones and network hardware, as well as repairing outages, and break/fix support… .

 

  • Must be detail-oriented and organized.
