JOB REQUIREMENTS: Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking a highly motivated full-time surveyor. Responsibilities include completing topographic surveys and construction staking, gathering data for field survey and mapping procedures; preparing legal descriptions; performing quality assurance and control for incoming and outgoing data; communicating with current and potential clients; computing and adjusting processed data to county and state plane coordinates; calculating and consolidating survey data for mapping and descriptions. A valid driver\'s license, extended hours and overnight stays will be required. The successful candidate will have an associate degree in land surveying, civil engineering, or related field and at least 3 years of experience OR a bachelor\'s degree in surveying, civil engineering, or related field and one year of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: field survey, data collection, topographic surveys and construction staking; AutoCAD Civil 3D software; using GPS and robotic total stations to perform construction staking and topographic and boundary surveys; surveying principles, including legal descriptions, horizontal and vertical control, and as-built surveys.
