This hybrid position will be based out of Byron Center, MI, Hazel Park, MI, Milwaukee, WI, Mayville, WI, or Fond du Lac, WI. As the Supplier Development Engineer, you will lead and drive supplier development projects within the MEC supply base to improve processes, systems, and performance. You will support the Strategic Sourcing Team to ensure key suppliers are providing the highest value possible to the organization by implementing toolsets centered on continuous improvement, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and project management. A Supplier Development Engineer will utilize assessment/auditing skillsets to identify gaps with strategic supplier partners, provide solutions, and manage implementation and effectivity of improvements to obtain optimal value for the enterprise.
