We are looking for dynamic and talented Senior software engineer to join Workplace Portals Engineering focusing on .NET Core and Javascript development. You will be working on a high impact modernization effort building an application that delivers value to our field force. The ideal candidate is full-stack, comfortable working on front-end apps as well as their backend. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Demonstrates technical leadership to team Establishes, aggregates, and shares team standards and best practices within department Utilizes working relationships across teams within their division Assesses and provides solutions to system-wide architectural problems In a DevOps environment, moves between diverse tasks with cooperation and persistence, helping to bring out the best in the team Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues that may arise during the development and deployment of software projects. Conducts thorough code evaluation to ensure compliance with established coding standards and best practices mentor and provide guidance/support to junior engineers Qualifications: Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience 4-5+ years professional application development experience 4+ years of experience working with modern engineering tools, languages and practices. Proven track record of successfully designing and delivering significant and impactful technology solutions 1+ years\' professional experience with .NET Core development 1+ years\' professional experience with a JavaScript framework, ES6, NodeJS, Redux, RESTful services Understanding and exposure to cloud-based development including PaaS and SaaS, and Docker and/or Kubernetes Exposure/Understanding of automated testing concepts: unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and Test-Driven Development Ability to effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences in varying forms and levels of detail Solid understanding of design patterns and architecture Nice to Haves: Experience developing in a Content Management System (CMS), specifically Optimizely Familiarity with Search Engines and User Interface applications that interface to them (e.g. Lucidworks, Microsoft Search, and SharePoint Classic Search experiences) Have a passion for operational excellence, problem-solving, and ownership in accomplishing challenging goals.
