Job Overview We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior IT Data & Solutions Engineer to join our corporate IT team. This role can be based at our headquarters in Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL. In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and integrated workflows to enable streamlined processing, advanced analytics, and actionable business intelligence solutions reflective of Komatsu\'s business strategy. This role will collaborate closely with cross-team and cross-functional stakeholders to understand challenges related to extracting and harmonizing data across disparate sources, enabling efficient data orchestration, and construct knowledge graphs to create seamless information flows across systems to provide a cohesive and unified approach for digital transformation. Key Job Responsibilities Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders and leadership to gather requirements and translate to data modeling specifications. Plan, develop, and support data pipelines and integration workflows to meet business and IT objectives. Implement data health and quality checks, validation rules, and procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Optimize data processing by designing efficient data structures, indexes, partitioning strategies, and knowledge graphs. Create and maintain documentation inclusive of design requirements and usability of data transformation pipelines. Recommend improvements to existing data landscapes to management and executives for implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to analyze data orchestration improvements and articulate optimal solutions for improvement. Collaborate with analysts and data modeling experts to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
