JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: HISPANIC/LATINO/A/X RESEARCH STUDY PROGRAM COORDINATION We are recruiting for a Research Program Coordinator II to support the Multicultural, Diversity, and Latinx Health Equity Research Program, directed by Dr. Lisa Sanchez-Johnsen. A little bit about Dr. Lisa Sanchez-Johnsen\'s work: The Multicultural, Diversity, and Latinx Health Research Team focuses on addressing culture-based obesity (diet, physical activity, and body image) and tobacco interventions and assessments for diverse ethnic groups using community-engaged approaches; disparities in weight loss after bariatric surgery across ethnic groups; and cancer and diabetes risk reduction across ethnic groups. These efforts are highly community-engaged, participatory, and culture-centered. The current project is an NIH-funded study focused on healthy eating and physical activity in Puerto Rican men. Additional opportunities to work on Latino, Asian, and Multicultural Health Research students are also possible. Primary Functions Collaborate on the development of program materials including educational materials, marketing materials, websites, forms, and reports. Work with program leaders to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive databases and files related to the program. Maintain program timeline including tracking deadlines and program components. Coordinate and assist in the development of the program budget. Assist in recruitment and training of program staff. Organize internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events. Conduct or coordinate training for program participants. Collect, analyze, and disseminate program data. Report program data and progress to program stakeholders. Provide input on program design. Participate on appropriate committees relevant to the advancement of the program and the profession. Coordinate and manage program outreach activities including acting as a liaison with community organizations. Coordinate IRB submissions.
