JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: As a Research Program Coordinator II in the Department of Medicine\'s Hematology and Oncology Division you will work closely with the Research Program Manager to coordinate the daily administrative activities and contract related requirements of the research program of the division. You will be responsible for the creation and tracking of research budgets and provide support to the team to facilitate the achievement of the program\'s goals. Primary Functions Create clinical research budgets for trials that reside in the Division of Hematology and Oncology. Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive databases and files related to the research contracts and budgets, and provide program projections to leadership. Assist in the creation, negotiation, and administration of contracts, agreement, and research proposals. Reviews contract compliance with IRB protocol and clinical trials procedures. Collaborate with principal investigators and research team to ensure that contracts are in compliance with regulatory, funding agency, and policy requirements. Provides guidance and support to investigators in the identification and development of funding opportunities. Create payments terms for complex research trials and manage the budgets throughout the life of the trial. Create funding proposals in eBridge and provide updates as needed. Prepare and submit invoices to sponsors for Division related research. Run monthly Oracle financial report package and other system reports as needed. Monitor and review expenditures against the approved budget; confirm accounts and account balances. Process Cost transfer forms and Funding Reallocation forms for Division faculty and staff labor distribution changes and cost, as needed. Collaborate with Clinical Trials Office on clinical research initiatives as needed. Assist in special projects as needed. Knowledge - Skills - Abilities Knowledge of technical, business, consultation, project management, and cultural awareness. Knowledge of financial software platforms such as Excel and iLab (MCW software).
