JOB REQUIREMENTS: Senior Regulatory Expert: Sustainability Business Transformation As a passionate and innovative expert in regulatory assessments, solvent use and the TSCA High Priority Chemicals Program you will play a key role in leading sustainability portfolio transformation within MilliporeSigma. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance with existing regulations and on executing the transition of our portfolio even beyond regulatory requirements. To this end, you will be involved in regulatory risk treatment projects, such as substitution projects, where you will leverage your expertise in US chemicals regulation especially on emerging high priority chemicals regulation to guide new product development, drive innovation and ensure compliance with sustainability standards. In addition, you will monitor emerging high priority chemical identification and prepare comments on EPA proposals. You will use your excellent communication and partnering abilities to work closely with stakeholders across the organization to provide advice on regulatory execution strategies, implementing initiatives that support our commitment to sustainable practices. Responsibilities: Stay up to date with the latest developments in TSCA high priority chemical regulation with a technically advanced understanding of solvent assessment methods as well as experience in advocacy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive portfolio transformations, e.g. by supporting substitution projects.Provide strategic regulatory expert guidance and support to R&D, Production, and Product Management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while guiding the transition to a more sustainable portfolio.Represent the company in industry associations, working groups, and regulatory forums, fostering collaboration and driving the adoption of sustainable practices.
