JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Category:Schedule:Full timeJob Description: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Drive Quality Assurance Activities - Estimates, prioritizes, plans, and coordinates test activities. Develops, publishes, and implements test strategy, test plans, and test scripts. Identifies risks and develops mitigation strategies. Develops detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Develop Robust Test Solutions - Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system. Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. Executes and maintains automated regression test suites using cloud tools. Develops and applies testing processes to new and existing products to meet stakeholders\' needs. Develops and maintains automated test harnesses and libraries. Creates tests that cover functionality, load, security, etc. at the API and GUI levels. Partner with Engineering - Partners with the Development team to perform tests via standards based on APIs for communicating between applications. Influences quality engineering best practices within the scrum team. Coaches and educates others to increase early defect detection rates and decrease defect escape rates. Lead Documentation & Metrics - Identifies, records, thoroughly documents, and tracks bugs. Tracks quality assurance metrics including reporting on pre-defined KPI, defect densities, and open defects counts. Foster Standards & Auditing - Develops and maintains testing standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent testing procedures. Follows standards in accordance with company policy and regulation (ISO 27001, SOC). Recommends process improvement and strengthens the quality standards and implements those improvements on approval. Audits test deliverables to ensure they meet standards and take corrective action to mitigate variances. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or combination of education and relevant IT experience 3-5 years of software development, QA Engineer, QA Tester experience Test Portfolio Development Experience Strong scripting skills. Experience with CI/CD Technologies. Excellent knowledge and experience with test methodologies (unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, functional testing, etc). Strong experience with SQL and database schema designs and experience with building automation frameworks is a must. Ability to investigate, debug and triage difficult problems both independently and collaboratively. Automation feasibility definition and hands-on execution experience; ability to train others on automation practices and tools.
