Description Lutheran Social Services is currently seeking a Program Coordinator to join our growing HUD Housing Program! Our organization has an outstanding network of HUD housing apartment buildings throughout the state of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. This role will have direct responsibility for processing and verifying all compliance paperwork, reviewing documentation for tenant certifications and leases as well as aid in our ultimate goal of maintaining high occupancy standards and tenant satisfaction. Position is primarily Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. This is a full time and benefit eligible role. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Direct responsibility for processing and verifying all compliance paperwork Reviews and corrects documentation for tenant certifications, leases, etc. Maintain high occupancy and tenant satisfaction Ensuring all certification paperwork is complete according to U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program rules and LSS expectations Intake and process applications Completes background, credit checks and HUD eligibility verifications.to complete approval for tenancy. Have a high attention to detail and ability to communicate with a variety of individuals and neighborhood group representatives and city leaders. Hold a HUD Certified Occupancy Specialist Certification or similar certification. Have a working knowledge of HUD handbook(s) and publications and implements requirements contained within Knowledge of property management software. Ability to complete informational and compliance reports and respond to requests for information on property operations in a timely manner.
