GENERAL PLASTICS INC Machine Operator in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: General Plastic is looking for machine operators to run our Thermoformers and CNCs. You would be working 4 days per week with a 3-day weekend. Only work Monday through Thursday either from 7 am to 5 pm or 9 pm to 7 am. Are you interested in a career in the plastics industry? As a Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process, ensuring machines are set up, operated, and maintained properly to meet production goals and quality standards. Responsibilities Operate and monitor plastic molding machines to ensure they are running efficiently and smoothly Set up and adjust machine parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and speed Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections and make adjustments as necessary Monitor production output to ensure it meets quality standards and production goals Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions and issues in a timely manner Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a clean and safe work environment ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED equivalent Previous experience as a Machine Operator in the plastics industry preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machine issues Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams Basic math skills, including the ability to accurately measure and weigh materials Ability to work independently and in a team environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: https://recruiting.paylocity.com/recruiting/jobs/All/b81ef369-05f4-4442-9745-6f1b21567d5b/GENERAL-PLASTICS-INC
