The Headlines :

In the role of Legal Analyst – Litigation working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the Americas Legal team.

This position reports to the Senior Counsel – eDiscovery and Litigation and works closely with the Litigation function.

The Responsibilities :

  • Provide legal support to the Litigation team on a variety of routine and complex legal matters

  • Update case summaries, track important court dates and deadlines

  • Assist with initial intake of matters including document discovery and litigation holds

  • Conduct thorough factual research and gather evidence on matters as assigned by attorneys

  • Conduct legal research in various states regarding claims and lawsuits

  • Review and draft letters and memoranda on various litigation and prelitigation issues

  • Liaise between internal stakeholders (HR, Sales, Operations, etc.), external counsels, and the internal legal team

  • Track and maintain a repository of legal resources and processes

  • Participate in special projects, including the development of guidance, policies and best practices

  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required

The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent compliance experience (4+ years) or paralegal certificate

  • You have at least3 years of experience supporting litigation teams in a law firm and/or corporation, preferably with a consumer-packaged goods company

  • You have supported eDiscovery and litigation at a law firm or in a corporate setting; experience managing consumer product claims is preferred

  • You are familiar with eDiscovery software like Relativity, Microsoft Purview, Everlaw, DISCO, etc.

  • You have experience in insured and non-insured claim management and resolution;experience supporting trial teams considered a plus

  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills including experience drafting correspondence

  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities

  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome

  • You take accountability for results, acting with integrity and honoring commitments

  • You work independently with little supervision in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple, competing priorities, and maintaining attention to detail

  • You are a trusted advisor and manage professionally confidential informationYou communicate clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders, and externally with outside law firms and potentially government agencies
