JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Difference Principle, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting other nonprofits in realizing their visions and fulfilling their missions. We offer high-quality back-office administration and support services to independent nonprofit organizations in addition to our two social justice subsidiary organizations, JusticePoint and Sirona Recovery. This role will collaborate closely with executive and program leadership to uphold the highest standards of fiscal oversight and customer service across all facets of network operations. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the operations of the accounting department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll Recruit, train, evaluate, and manage the accounting department staff Assist in new customer development and growth of accounting services business DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: General ledger entry and preparation Monitoring cash status Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Preparation of monthly financial statements Prepare and submit monthly cost reports and invoice to funders and customers Review and ensure accurate submission of payroll. Apply all payroll standards required by state and federal law. Assist in preparation of annual budget Prepare year-end audit schedules and work with external auditor Prepare fiscal analyses, forecasts, and projections for CEO/COO Financial presentations to Board of Trustees Other duties as assigned ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Strong, transparent, high-integrity leadership Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
