KURK CONCRETE INC Construction Project Coordinator in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description: We are looking for an entry level construction project coordinator who will be involved in multiple aspects of on-site construction and record keeping. You will work closely with the project team to keep everything on track and ensure project success. This is an entry-level position that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with the project team, managing construction documents, and completing on-site record keeping. Location: This position will require you to work in person on a construction job site in the City of Milwaukee 5 days per week (Monday Friday) from 7 AM 4 PM. The ideal candidate will be able to travel to our office in Union Grove, WI 2-4 times per month or as needed (accommodations will be determined based on individual). *Part time hours available based on individual\'s schedule. Job Responsibilities Attends construction meetings on a regular basis - actively participates in meetings Managing and reviewing documents throughout all phases of a project. Records and stores photographs. Under general supervision, interacts with professional/technical staff to accomplish assigned objectives. Maintain highway & bridge construction records and related paperwork pertaining to billing. Coordinate closely with the project manager, client and contractor. Prepare correspondence, reports & supporting documents Verify deficiencies are minimized weekly and safety meetings are performed Monitor and record project progress daily Prepare and submit project status reports to management and other stakeholders Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure project success Additional Information Compensation: Depends on experience, wages begin at \$18 per hour. Tools & Equipment: Technology and work appropriate attire will be provided. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications: Residency: Current City of Milwaukee resident Technology-capable: Ability to learn and utilize software programs to help manage the project. Document management is done through computer/smart phones/tablets. Current construction drawings are managed via computer. Primary Software Used: PlanGrid, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace. General: Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills required.
