JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: The Medical College of Wisconsin\'s Department of Department of Radiology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary and specialty medical care within defined scope of practice under the supervision of a licensed physician and in accordance with MCW/FMLH/CHW policies and procedures. The Department of Radiology prides itself on the delivery of world-class diagnostic and interventional radiology services. We use state-of-the-art imaging equipment, and our faculty radiologists are national leaders in the development and use of new imaging technologies located in Milwaukee, WI at Froedtert Hospital & Froedtert Hospital Community Sites. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching. The Ideal Candidate will be a Radiologic experienced APP with technical proficiency, collaborative t4eam player, and a passion for healthcare impact, wanting to be part of a thriving and very collaborative academic practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Areas of responsibility will include, but not be limited to providing direct patient care to an adult patient population in a blended environment. In this role you will: Collaborates with interdisciplinary health care teams in diagnosis and treatment of conditions requiring Radiologic intervention in blended environment as a member of the Radiology department. Performs advanced treatments and/or radiology procedures following verification of competency as indicated by the radiology department. Collaborate with primary care providers, specialty care providers and/or inpatient providers, to provide comprehensive patient care. Participates in pre-procedural, intra-procedural and post-procedural patient care. Provides patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team in the department of radiology. Participates in activities that contribute to the education of healthcare professionals including, one on one education, group education, committee participation, formal presentations and/or publishing. Participates in the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of quality improvement programs, standards of practice, patient education, policies and/or procedures.
