Lockheed Martin Accounts Payable Associate Accountant - Entry Level - HYBRID TELEWORK in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

We are an industry leader, offering a suite of fleet management solutions, including spares distribution, logistics solutions, repair and overhaul services and technical solutions.

THE WORK

We are seeking a self-motivated Entry Level Accounts Payable Associate Accountant who is looking for a challenging work environment. Selected individual will be responsible for processing accounts payable, responding to supplier inquiries, investigating aged payables and other projects as assigned.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Processing inventory and non-inventory invoices into IFS (ERP system)

• Resolving aged payables

• Responding to supplier inquiries

• Follow up on aged checks and unclaimed property

• 1099 reporting

• Daily bank tie-out

• Supplier statement reconciliation

• Resolving purchase price variances with supply chain management

• Monitors and processes incoming e-mail inquiries into the AP Team group mailboxes

• Enters purchase requisitions into IFS in support of the Derco Maintenance Team

• Backup or assists in preparing customer packets

• Supports Finance Department Leadership as well as department goals and objectives by successfully completing other duties and projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 year degree required

• Systems, tools and technology savvy including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet the needs of both internal and external customers

Desired Skills:

• Ability to quickly obtain a working knowledge of the ERP system

• Experience processing and resolving accounts payable issues

• Systems, tools and technology savvy including all other Microsoft Office products, online tools and PDF editing software

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve and make recommendations for improvement

• Knowing fundamentals of accounts payable and GAAP

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
