Pinpoint Federal Credit Union Part Time Member Champion (Bank Teller/Customer Service Rep) in Milton, Pennsylvania

As a Member Champion, your primary responsibilities are to promptly welcome guests and assist them in meeting their financial goals, while exceeding their expectation for service. To accomplish this, Member Champions are responsible for:

  • performing routine account and cash/check transactions;
  • providing prompt and courteous telephone and email services;
  • cross-selling various products and services in order to fulfill the member's financial needs;
  • researching and resolving member account, card and e-services questions and concerns;
  • verifying and balancing a cash drawer; assisting in verifying cash shipments and orders; and servicing the coin machine;
  • resolving member questions and concerns; researching account inquiries; and troubleshooting and replying to internal inquiries in a timely, friendly and accurate manner - completing additional follow up as needed;
  • becoming familiar with and abiding by policies, procedures and guidelines set forth by the credit union, e.g. Security; Bank Secrecy Act; Identity Theft and Red Flags; Cash Over/Short Guidelines; Check Cashing and Holds; Confidentiality; etc.;
  • performing a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input, answering the telephone before three rings and other duties as assigned;
  • Maintaining a dependable record of attendance and timeliness;
  • Participating in training and professional development activities to acquire and maintain the high standards established by the credit union. This could including attending conferences, seminars and workshops as directed by Management

This position requires schedule flexibility, including Saturday hours. Hours per week could range from 20 - 35 hours per week, depending on staffing needs.

Part-time employees receive a benefit package that includes:

Other Job Requirements:

  • Education - Requires a high school education or equivalent.
  • Interpersonal Skills - Requires well developed interpersonal skills for communicating with members and co-workers.
  • Requires the ability to operate a computer and basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing).
  • Cash Handling - prior experience is preferred.
