Staff Marketing Communications Specialist

Job Description

Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced employee/internal communications professional to manage executive communications for key business unit executives; craft strategic communications plans to keep employees informed, engaged, and connected; and continually evolve internal programs that support business unit growth.

Qualifications

  • Craft communications plans and clear, impactful materials that support organizational strategy, major initiatives, announcements, and internal content for business units.

  • Manage communication programs for business unit executives, supporting their strategic priorities and business direction.

  • Create, manage, and ensure delivery of content for employee emails, all-hands meetings, intranet page/articles, townhalls and roundtables, video messages, etc.

  • Define success metrics for communications vehicles/programs and continually measure progress including regular employee surveys and monitoring of communications performance. Optimize programs based on defined metrics.

  • Ensure communication efforts align with and support larger Renesas strategic business objectives.

  • Develop compelling content that drives awareness of organizational updates/changes, ensuring employee understanding and buy-in of larger corporate objectives.

  • Create and implement innovative programs to continually increase employee engagement and understanding.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years as a communications professional in a fast-paced environment in the technology industry and at least a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field.

  • Experience working with executives and an ability to create content from their perspective/in their “voice,” adapting content according to channel, format, and audience.

  • Ability to grasp technological concepts and complex solutions and distill them into language and messaging that resonate with varied audiences.

  • Experience working with international teams and across functions.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills and an eye for detail.

  • Proficiency with digital communications channels and tools.

  • Ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • A willingness to keep up to date with current industry events and news and understand how they impact corporate and business unit strategy and execution.

Additional Information

The expected annual pay range for this position is $ 134,000- $200,000. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities ,commission pay and STI. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
