The Annuals Crew Member will be responsible for the annual and tropical plant care and performing general plant maintenance. They will perform manual tasks associated with the outdoor production of annuals and tropical plant material. This is a seasonal position that will last from March until the end of August.
Role and Responsibilities
- plant, grow, and maintain annuals
- remove cull stock, weed plants, and other unwanted growth from the annual and tropical area
- irrigate and apply fertilizer to annual and tropical plant material
- train, prune, trim, shear, space, transplant, and cull plants to ensure availability of marketable products
- label, tag, pull, sort and deliver plants by variety
- unload products, materials, and supplies and move products to designated areas as instructed
- other related duties as assigned
