Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming atmosphere by greeting customers upon entry
- Efficiently process customer transactions, including cash, checks, and credit/debit cards
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product information
- Maintain accurate cash register balances and process returns/exchanges in accordance with company policy
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked retail environment
- Collaborate with fellow retail associates to ensure proper coverage during breaks and lunches
- Support all Garden Center departments with daily tasks and projects during slow periods or winter season
- Perform other related duties as assigned
