Are you experienced in materials management in a warehouse envrionment? Bring your skillset to the materials department of a local company. We are looking for someone to provide the appropriate level of support, training, system maintenance and communication to drive the company's inventory management process and improve inventory accuracy. Must have an eye for detail. Must have good math skills and be able to convert linear ft to square feet. Good understanding of Microsoft Excel and other inventory control/shipping software Good understanding of Lean Application tools (Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, Visual Manufacturing, etc) Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), a plus

salary: $18 - $21.6 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Provide the appropriate level of support, training, system maintenance and communication to drive the company's inventory managmement process by coordinating with production, purchasing, warehousing, shipping/receiving, and customer service

Responsible for improving inventory accuracy within the channel by investigating discrepancies and performing a root cause analysis.

Examine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet product distribution needs. Support the movement, storage, or processing of inventory.

Coordinate logistics activity with customers to meet demand requirements

Conducts inventory discrepancies to determine root cause and implement corrective action

Analyze and assist in setting inventory levels using supply chain best practices to meet customer forcast.

Skills
