SUMMARY: bankHometown in Millbury is seeking to fill full-time permanent BANK TELLER positions for first shift, 9-5, \$17/hr. DUTIES: \ Provide efficient, effective and courteous customer service while performing a variety of transactions to service customers (consumer and commercial) such as processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, cashing checks, providing credit card cash, advances, etc. \ Account for all money in individual cash drawer and balances transactions daily \ Develop and maintain a working knowledge of company\'s bank products and services \ Identify customer needs for products and services and make the appropriate referral \ Acts as a resource to identify customer servicing issues so that resolution can occur and customer is retained \ Respond to customer requests, problems and complaints, and/or direct them to the proper person for specific information and assistance \ Understand quantitative and qualitative results required to maintain acceptable standards of performance \ Adhere to internal controls/policies regarding audit, dual control, security, regulatory compliance, cash limits and robbery procedures that protect the bank, employees, and customers \ Accurately complete Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) \ Accurately complete Monetary Instrument Logs for the cash purchase of Money Orders and Travelers Checks \ Understand importance of creating/maintaining good working relationships to promote a productive and harmonious work environment \ Seek involvement in a community development service within the Bank?s assessment area (Community development encompasses affordable housing and community services that target low or moderate income individuals and activities that revitalize or stabilize targeted low or moderate income neighborhoods; Community development services must be related to providing a financial service or use the financial expertise of the bank employee.
