40 hours, 8:00a-4:30p/7:30a-4:00p, no weekend or holidays

Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital located in Milford, Mass. and serves patients from more than 20 towns in Central Massachusetts. The 149-bed medical center is a nonprofit, acute-care facility, where more than 300 primary care and specialty physicians are committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community with dignity, compassion and respect.

Statement of Purpose: Reviews patient claims and ensures they are accurate and complete; determines appropriate billing distributions; monitors outstanding claims and applies late charges; processes refund for overpaid accounts; receives and answers billing-related inquiries.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma

Certification/License: N/A

Experience: 1-3 years’ strong third-party billing and telephone experience required Must have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple competing priorities required Ability to enter data accurately and strong computer skills required. Must have ability to communicate effectively and respectfully, both verbally and in writing
