State of Massachusetts Program Coordinator I - Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section (C.A.R.S.) in Milford, Massachusetts

The Department of State Police is seeking a Program Coordinator I for our Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section (C.A.R.S.). The duties of this position include, but are not limited to: * Processing and preparing responses to outside requests for information related to crash investigations by C.A.R.S., which include court requests, subpoenas, agency request, and FOIA and Massachusetts Public Record requests. * Ensuring responses are provided in a timely fashion, adhere to state and federal statutes, and are recorded according to departmental protocol. * Communicating with and providing good customer service to the public or other records requestors. * Collaborating with the Massachusetts State Police (MSP) divisions to identify, review, and assemble responsive records. * Assisting with the identification and redaction of confidential, privileged, private, or exempt documents or parts thereof. * Prepare draft response letters to requestors. * Maintain information in a systematic way and perform measures to substantiate compliance with the Public Records Law, MSP standards, and records retention requirements. * Monitoring status of outstanding public or other records requests. * Research, develop, and apply methods on analyzing statistical data related to crashes and crash-related investigations. * Prepare all statistical data for weekly/monthly reports to Division and Unit Commanders. * Develop and maintain new forms, templates, and programs for C.A.R.S. * Maintain all records for C.A.R.S. * Answer all direct inquiries to the Unit, including phone calls and traditional mail. * Perform related duties as required. First consideration will be given to those applicants that apply within the first 14 days. MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have at least (A) two years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional, administrative or managerial experience in business administration, business management or public administration the major duties of which involved program management, program administration, program coordination, program planning and/or program analysis, or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below. Substitutions: I. A Bachelor's or higher degree with a major in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for the required experience.* II.
