Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital located in Milford, Mass. and serves patients from more than 20 towns in Central Massachusetts. The 149-bed medical center is a nonprofit, acute-care facility, where more than 300 primary care and specialty physicians are committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Statement of Purpose: Cordially greets and receives patients, ascertains their needs and appropriately directs patients. Has command of computer uses telephone courteously, performs clerical duties and registers, receives, enters, centrifuges and distributes specimens. Review all laboratory requisitions for required documentation, and diagnosis codes. Teaches and trains offices, and lab employees. Assists in the Send Out Laboratory on the processing bench and performs sample processing, packaging and shipping, and resulting. Assist in Lab Support Area to answer client phone calls, register patients into Meditech, process samples, and performs clerical and auditing procedures Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Certification / License: none

Experience: Microbiology specimen processing experience preferred. Clerical experience including the ability to utilize Microsoft Office products and basic laboratory techniques.

MRMC Differentials:

Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
