Environmental Services /EVS Tech -Housekeeping Aide

Join our team of dedicated and caring individuals that staff our Housekeeping Department. You will be a part of a team that will make our patients feel comfortable during their stay with us and provide them with a clean and pleasant environment. Cleaning isn't all you'll do; sometimes a simple smile and a" good morning" can make a difference in a patient's visit.

Primary duties: A caring and pleasant attitude Cleans patient rooms & assigned areas, including handing waste and biohazards Ensures a safe and clean environment for patients, staff and visitors at all-times Operates and cleans various types of cleaning equipment, both mechanical and electrical vacuums, wringers, and carts. Strictly follows the hospital policies for infectious control completion Must be able to independently communicate in English, verbal and written skills are required.

Statement of Purpose:

According to established procedures, cleans and services building areas. Moves furniture, equipment and supplies in and around hospital departments; and performs a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Graduate or G.E.D. preferred

Experience: Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

MRMC Differentials: Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
