In this context, we are looking for a highly motivated Silicon Design Engineer to help us to push the boundaries of the technology beyond standard micro controller components .

The ideal candidate is a Silicon Design Engineer with previous experience in design IC or ASIC with mixed digital and analog component in the audio space. Hearing-Aid experience as a must .

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES

  • Design Custom IC : design custom IC for Audio based smart eyewear with hearing aid function with extreme low power profile, with beamforming and digital signal processing functions.

  • Define architecture of future Silicon product across category : identify the key element to architect a Silicon strategy across multiple family of product beyond Audio Glasses .

  • Signal processing techniques application : Develop and apply signal processing techniques to the data acquired on a large amount of subjects;

  • AI algorithms architect : define the strategy to integrate regular signal processing with machine learning components , maintaining hi power efficiency .

NETWORK OF INTERACTION

INTERNAL : The resource will interact with the project managers of the program and product manager of Smart Eyewear Team .

EXTERNAL : The resource will interact with suppliers to enable the production of the IC

TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

  • Educational Background in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, (Master Degree or better a PhD)

  • At least 5/10 years of experience in designing low power silicon components, better if integrated circuits

  • Knowledge on Digital Signal Processing for Hearing Aid is considered a plus.

  • Experience in writing specification to enable the production of silicon components.

  • Background in machine/deep learning techniques and algorithms (optimization algorithm, data fusion, digital signal processing).

  • Good knowledge of embedded system and firmware development.

  • Basic knowledge of electronic systems and sensors.
