ManpowerGroup Press Room - 2nd shift in MILAN, Michigan

Our client, Advanced Vehicle Assemblies, in Milan is currently seeking a proactive and skilled individual to work as a press room operator! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity that starts immediately. Apply today!

Location: Advanced Vehicle Assemblies in Milan

Compensation: $17.85 per hour – WEEKLY PAY!

What’s In It For You:

  • Evening shift, Monday-Friday; 3:00pm-12:00pm. Overtime available

  • Potential to be hired on permanently

  • Acquire new skills as you cross-train for different jobs.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Operate single hit presses.

  • Assist in the loading and unloading of coils and starting of metal strip in the feed system.

  • Record production and nonproduction data either through the HP system by entering information at data terminals or utilizing the production job ticket.

  • Assist in operation of automatic presses.

  • Understanding of quality requirements in order to perform sort, rework and tagging.

  • Practice good housekeeping methods and take responsibility for area cleanup.

Here’s What You Need To Apply:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • This job requires climbing, hours of standing, good vision, good hearing, lifting capability up to 60 pounds, ability to bend, squat, twist, and kneel.

  • Working knowledge of press and feeder line components.

  • Good communication skills are needed to work with other members in the work zone.
