Job Description Summary

Responsible to work with Region, Product, HR and finance teams to enable optimal target setting, sales incentives, and performance management across GEHC for 8,000 eligible, 4 global regions . Architect a set of scalable guidelines, frameworks, and software in these areas, drive profitable growth across the business, including Sales Incentive Compensation process design, mapping & assessment, as well as identifying simplification & growth opportunities, and developing and implementing optimized solutions.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction for SIC ( Sales Incentive Compensation) as thought leader & subject matter expert to/with SBUs, HR & Finance in development of SIC Plans, processes, pay cycles & administration, to maximize business goals impact and to assure accurate/timely payment

  • Work with regions and finance teams to provide critical insight into plan effectiveness & related product/activity metrics

  • Provide up-to-date reports & analytics, e.g. variance to SIC budget, sales performance analysis & impact related metrics

  • Maintain strong controllership & governance by working with regions, HR, Legal, Finance, and HR C&B to ensure policy compliance

  • Support regions with SPIFFs ( Sales Program Incentive Funds) - to improve impact of SPIFFs

  • Maintain current knowledge of market practices relevant to SIC trends & design, enable best practices as change opportunities

  • Participate in external benchmarking pay mix and additional surveys for competitive market analyses and make recommendations on the impact of relevant developments in sales commission

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree (preferable) in analytical discipline or equivalent

  • 8 plus years of experience in the Sales Incentive Compensation and performance management.

  • Experience in Sales Incentive Compensation Software

  • Superior interpersonal, oral/written communication, collaboration & tactful diplomacy skills to also deliver difficult messages

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

  • Established project management skills.

  • Strong analytic skills, linking them to solving problems/to derive meaningful conclusions, with attention to detail
