Your Role

The IT Infrastructure Specialist works within the IT function. IT in Kuehne+Nagel is a fundamental asset for the business and encompasses a wide range of activities and services, they are accountable to support business throughout its operativity assuring the business continuity. They also focus on fostering continous IT infrastrucure innovation and digital transformation. Is part of the IT Department and contribute to help desk activities while maintaining the IT infrastructure. Provide support to deliver consistent and high-quality standards of services, promoting continuous improvement with a focus on IT security.

Your Responsibilities

Security:

  • Assist the monitoring of daily activities of IT KPIs, contributing to IT security

  • Report any kind of risk (HW or SW) potentially compromising the smooth operation of information systems

  • Be updated consulting the Corporate IT security policies

Technical Features:

  • Control monitoring tools and ensure the functioning of all the Italian Servers, Databases and Network component

  • Check on a daily basis the execution of Backup Procedures

  • Archive and maintain IT documentation on Team’s Wiki

  • Manage Microsoft 365 environment (Onedrive, Sharepoint, Teams)

  • Network troubleshooting

  • Manage radiofrequency equipment (RF gun, vehicle mounted, printer)

User Support:

  • Cooperate with Help Desk Support to all Italian sites/offices

  • Assist in the maintenance of all local hardwares across Italian sites

  • Support the requirements gathering for new sites, warehouses and business

Process Improvement:

  • Collaborate in the submission of proposals and ideas for improving IT Infrastructure.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Familiarity with HW devices (hardware devices)

  • Exposure to major office market software (such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace)

  • Experience in server administration (configuring, managing, and maintaining servers)

  • Knowledge of network administration (managing network infrastructure)

  • Effective collaboration, problem-solving, and a cooperative approach to achieving shared goals

  • Proficiency in English at an intermediate level
