Meta Creative Strategist - STE in Milan, Italy

Joining Meta’s Creative Shop means that you’re going to be a part of an incredibly talented and committed team that is focused on defining the role that Meta can and will play in the future of marketing.A creative strategist is someone who has worked as an Art Director/Copywriter, Associate Creative Director or Planner across integrated advertising agencies, in-house creative teams and/or digital production companies. For this opportunity, we are looking for a Creative Strategist with a Creative Director background to work across our portfolio of clients. Digital native experience and performance background are very valuable skills for this position. Someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, who has a drive for creative experimentation and learning. You’ll be tasked with inspiring and influencing how advertisers create and execute campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and next set of our ad platforms. You are someone who can bring ideas to life with video, design and have a track record of developing and executing innovative digital campaigns. The right candidate should embrace the opportunity to use our variety of creative canvases and technologies to engage communities of people with richly crafted storytelling and experiences, delivered on the channels that matter most to our audiences. Most of all, we're looking for people who want to make things that matter to millions of people who come to our platforms every day.Critical to the success of this role is the ability to collaborate with our global and local accounts teams, to be a team player who loves to work with a mix of people from different disciplines and culture but also comfortable to work independently, since prioritizing, organizing and managing one’s own projects is also an important skill.This is a Short Term Employment (STE) role of around 16 months and will be located in our Milan office.

Creative Strategist - STE Responsibilities:

  1. Continually inspire our clients and the creative industry by creating or co-creating game-changing ideas that shape the future of advertising

  2. Develop strategies and creative ideas that transform our clients' business

  3. Roll up sleeves in flat creative organization to lead projects end-to-end — insights, strategy, concept, executions, pitch, production

  4. Lead brand and business strategy discussions to uncover business needs and creative opportunities

  5. Uncover brand and consumer insights to inform creative direction and help businesses connect with people in meaningful ways

  6. Develop holistic Meta solutions (including Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp) that drive the key business goals of our top clients

  7. Partner with other Creative Strategists on the team, Sales partners, Product, Engineering and external agencies to make your and their ideas shine on the Meta platforms

  8. Be a thought leader on how mobile technology is fundamentally changing consumer behavior and brand marketing

  9. Possess a strong passion for understanding people and deep desire to uncover new consumer behavior across various industries and platforms

  10. Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Fluency in both English and Italian is required

  2. 10+ years of experience as a Creative Director across both local and global accounts

  3. Understanding of brand marketing and media communication

  4. Experience developing strategically grounded, insight-driven, creative applied in mobile, digital and offline mediums

  5. Proven ability to translate data into meaningful insights that inform creative decisions

  6. Have the ability to bring an idea to life on a white board or presentation

  7. Able to Influence C-level clients

  8. Hands-on design and making skills - from video prototypes to assets mock-ups

  9. Storytelling, and visual communications skills

  10. Experience with Keynote and PowerPoint
