WTW Software Test Engineer ( SDET) in Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico

We're looking for a rigorous and passionate QA to bring their skills, ideas and drive to our expanding Global team.

You'll work in a cross-functional team with developers and project managers, all of us responsible for designing, building and supporting our product.

The Role

  • To Plan, Prepare, Execute and Report test cycles for both functional and nonfunctional testing and automated tests.

  • Involves functional system testing and exposure to non-functional testing.

  • Understand and manage User Story and Bug lifecycle.

  • Do estimation, review and provide improvement suggestions.

  • Work closely with the London-based Test Lead, Development Team & Project

  • Manager and Willis IT resources

  • Client facing and onsite travel opportunities.

The Requirements

  • A graduate/higher degree in Computer science stream.

  • 3-4 years of Software Testing Experience.

  • 3-4 years of experience testing web-based applications preferably from the financial domain.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong Understanding of SDLC and role of a QA Analyst.

  • Strong Understanding of software testing techniques and tools.

  • Strong Understanding of Test design, Test execution and defect lifecycle.

  • Strong Understanding of web based application and architecture.

  • A proven track record testing user interfaces, API and everything downward

  • Should be comfortable with SQL.

  • Good data analysis skills resulting in timely decision making.

  • Demonstrates excellent process, documentation, team participation and problemsolving skills. If you are a Fresher then ensure that all your college project details

  • are present on the resume.

  • Able to work independently with little help, be self-motivated and be passionate about software testing.

Ideally we'd also like

  • Knowledge of TFS and MTM.

  • Financial services / Insurance domain knowledge especially around risk analysis.

  • White box testing background in an Agile team.

  • Exposure in testing Mobile applications on iOS/Android platform.

  • Experience in test automation and test automation tools (Preferably Selenium web driver with c#).

  • A Testing certification.
