Description:

ABOUT THE JOB

Actalent is seeking an CAD Technician who produces CAD drawings from LiDAR field scan data using MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Job Functions:

Develop and revise detailed drawings adhering to specified standards and requirements.

Utilizes best practices and QA/QC procedures in CAD.

Utilizes various reference formats.

Maintains established server and file structures.

Communicates clearly and consistently with company and department leaders.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Associate’s degree in design drafting or construction technology or 3 years of relevant experience

1 year of experience working with datasets and data conversion between CAD file formats

Proficiency in AutoCAD software

Basic knowledge of geographic information system software (ArcGIS)

Basic knowledge of LiDAR/point cloud manipulation software

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Intermediate understanding of project parameters and standards

Complete multiple assignments successfully through effective multi-tasking and prioritizing
