Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Full-Time Tool Repair Technician to join our team in Midland, TX.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities ·

  • Primary-Dismantle, repair and reassemble mud buckets.

  • Secondary-Dismantle, repair and reassemble drilling jars and shock tools.

  • Responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance and proper disposal of debris on property.

  • Assist the Supervisor in all aspects of the job.

  • Assemble and set up new equipment.

  • Ensure awareness of, and compliance with, relevant company/customer QHSE requirements.

  • Perform other duties as required by Supervisor.

Knowledge/Skills/abilities ·

  • Current knowledge of equipment, materials, and practices used in the oil/gas industry.

  • Complete tasks and follow oral and written instructions with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Good communication and troubleshooting skills.

  • Accurately complete/maintain necessary reports/records in a timely and legible manner, in accordance with applicable procedures and/or work order.
