EOG Resources, Inc. Business Systems Associate in Midland, Texas

Primary responsibility is support of EOG's Midland division's cellular telecommunications. Will assist users with cell phone support, phone replacement and general daily issues. Provide analysis of related billing to help manage costs. Coordinate ideas, information and equipment with corporate communications staff. Will travel to division field offices as neede Additional responsibilities may include the following: Deploy and maintain desktops, laptops and all associated peripherals Provide end-to-end PC application and hardware support Coordinate software delivery to desktops using Altiris Tests standard PC images and recommends standard specifications for PC rollouts. Should have prior experience with enterprise wide hardware and software rollouts User account creation and administration for Active Directory and Lotus Notes Maintain user and file security Support Anti-Virus clients. Maintains an awareness of general virus threats and possible solutions to mitigate these threats Support Citrix clients and application access. Support Lotus Notes clients Install and maintain network and standalone printers, digital senders and copiers Remote access support for VPN, SSLVPN and dial-in users Local Area Network experience Monitor various sources to remain informed concerning the most current technologies Documents procedures and processes as necessary Special projects as necessary

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferred. 1+ year experience providing telecommunications and desktop support preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong telephone communication skills. Some familiarity with network administration. Must be highly motivated and a self-starter with ability to recognize and solve problems. Good knowledge of Windows, Citrix, and Outlook. Good working knowledge of PC Hardware Travel to all field offices to assist as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
