*Position Summary *

Works with managers and supervisors to develop staffing plans that meet short and long-term needs.  Utilizes effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract talent that meets the needs of the organization, including the company's regular workforce, seasonal employees, co-ops, and interns.  Researches, develops, and implements employee development programs that lead to high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction and support the organization's strategic objectives. 

 

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with managers / supervisors to determine the staffing needs of their respective departments.
  2. Maintain active involvement in the succession planning process.
  3. Identify sources for finding and recruiting top talent.  Establish relationships with key education, government, association, and business partners.
  4. Develop and maintain position descriptions and job opening announcements.
  5. Coordinate the screening process.

``` 6. Consult with the Director of Human Resources on proposed offers.

``` 1. Conduct appropriate background checks, and oversee the onboarding process.

``` 8. Manage the temporary (Associate) employee program by working closely with the staffing agency and supervisors. Approve placements, maintain rosters, monitor attendance, approve timecards, and work with supervisors and agency staff to manage overall performance.

``` 1. Identify gaps, and develop and implement employee development programs that meet employees' and the organization's needs. 2. Manage the employee job performance evaluation (JPE) process. 3. Establish relationships with training providers. 4. Seek out available employee development grant funding.

``` 13. Maintain appropriate records. 14. Serve as a member of the Human Resources team and assist with related duties as needed. 15. Work in an extremely safe manner, and comply with all federal, state and company safety regulations and procedures.

Qualification Requirements
  1. Minimum three (3) years of successful talent recruitment and/or employee development experience.
  2. Experience working with a seasonal workforce in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
