Roofer's Local 149 Roofer - Midland in Midland, Michigan

A union roofer can repair, replace and install roofs on commercial or industrial buildings. We Specialize in many different types of roofing including PVC, TPO, EPDM, hot applied built-up roofing and cold applied built-up roofing.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Moving and lifting roofing material
  • Remove old roofing systems
  • Lay new roofing material
  • Install insulation material
  • Clean rooftop by removing snow, ice, and other debris

Required Qualifications:

  • The position is extremely labor intensive and requires each employee to complete an apprenticeship program.
  • Successful candidates should be able to work well with their hands and power tools. This job also requires the ability to handle extreme climate conditions.
  • Must have high school diploma or GED Equivalent

Physical Requirements:

Lifting, climbing, bending and standing for long periods of time
