Job Description

What will you do?

  • Follow well defined procedures as outlined by Best Practices, SOP’s & work instructions.

  • Perform cycle counts using SAP.

  • Investigate inventory inaccuracies and determine root cause.

  • Work with other departments to investigate inventory discrepancies.

  • Be able to use a picker and forklift.

  • Analyzes/maintains/reconciles various inventory materials.

  • Communicates with supervisor any customer issues or potential problems.

  • Works effectively with a diverse cross-functional team.

  • Embraces Practical Process Improvement (PPI)

  • Perform other tasks as needed.

How will you get here?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Able to read, write and speak English

  • Must maintain Thermo Fisher Scientifics’ Four-I Values

  • Able to perform proficient math skills.

  • Able to lift 50 pounds.

  • Preferred SAP knowledge

  • Preferred Basic Warehouse Knowledge

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

  • Possess the operating skills to use computers and learn to entry data in various systems as needed.

  • Must be proficient with a computer.

Working Conditions:

  • Works independently.

  • Able to work overtime as required.
