PAC Worldwidemanufactures protective mailers and specialty packaging for the courier, e-commerce, fulfillment, and distribution markets. We offer a full portfolio of branded and stock packaging with paper, bubble-lined and flat solutions. As PAC expands its market reach further into curbside-recyclable applications and products, we are searching for anexperienced and driven corrugated fiberboard subject matter expertto join our team. The role will have responsibility for scoping, defining, and deploying production equipment and processes. TheSenior Project Engineerwill lead corrugator and converting equipment purchases, equipment modification and design for paper-based curbside recyclable applications, ensuring timely and on budget installation of conversion assets. In this role, the Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for actively imparting their knowledge across critical functional constituencies (e.g., procurement, manufacturing, engineering) to raise PAC Worldwide' s collective knowledge and capability base in paper and paper-based applications. Key Responsibilities As a Sr Project Engineer, you will: Lead our high-volume material creation & conversion platform on both local and global scales. Collaborate closely with PAC leadership, Ops engineering team, cross-functional teams, and sales organization to maintain, design, and modify manufacturing technologies. Utilize your end-to-end technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure successful execution of multi-phase projects. Own and manage all aspects of our equipment/technology platforms to ensure up-to-date capabilities, productivity, and safety. Support the deployment of new assets and capital improvements. Effectively communicate with plant and department leadership. Utilize key relationships on the production floor to drive positive changes and improvements. Apply formal problem-solving and root cause analysis tools as needed. Develop and maintain a network of suppliers for operations support. Collaborate with operations, engineering, and material innovation teams to design and improve production assets. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience. 10+ years of experience in paper based manufacturing and/or engineering. Project and time management experience. Experience with Corrugator operation/design/installation is strongly preferred. Proficiency in managing complex technology and working with high-speed mechanical and electronic equipment. Strong troubleshooting and equipment maintenance skills. Familiarity with continuous improvement tools and methodologies. Competence in equipment productivity planning and independent work. Experience in matrix management across functional departments. Excellent equipment mechanical and electronic operations skills. Advanced critical thinking and equipment troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. A solid understanding of manufacturing operations. Proficiency in problem-solving and root cause analysis. A data-driven approach, using metrics to deliver results. Flexibility and adaptability. CAD or equivalent skills. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
