Responsibilities The Urologist position is responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases or disorders of the genitourinary (GU) tract, performing surgery for urological disease or disorders for patients of Garnet Health and is responsible for leadership, coordination, and administration for clinics, hospitals, and other facilities that admit or care for patients. The Urologist works with an interdisciplinary team of primary caregivers and administrative support staff to perform duties while displaying the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct as well as acting in the best interest of the Garnet Health, supporting our mission, vision, and values to optimize the health and well-being of our patients. Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range for the role is $420,673 through $529,858 annually. Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION: M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy with Urologic Board certification or eligibility within five (5) years MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years of experience in Urology practice POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Current Physician Licensure in New York State Graduate of an Accredited M.D. or D.O. Program Current BLS Certification Board Certification or Current Board Eligibility in Urology within 60 months DEA registration valid and unrestricted Physical Requirements: Stands, walks, sits intermittently throughout the day. Lifts, pushes, pulls light to heavy weights as required. Working Conditions: Work is primarily indoors with exposure to various nursing unit and/or patient care elements. Travel to outside facilities is required.
