Garnet Health Medical Center's inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center offers a comprehensive range of high-quality services and state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment for both children and adults. Our therapies and specialty programs Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy Speech Language Pathology Cancer Rehabilitation Vestibular Therapy Lymphedema Therapy Responsibilities The Physiatrist is responsible for providing direct patient clinical care and managing medical problems of rehabilitation medicine patients. The physician leads the interdisciplinary team to improve efficiency and facilitate continuum of care for patients from admission to discharge. This continuum of care includes the acute medical rehabilitation unit, hospital based acute care, and outpatient rehabilitation. The physician will carry out assigned duties displaying the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct as well as acting in the best interest of GHMC and Garnet Health Doctors, supporting our mission, vision and values to optimize the health and well-being of our patients. The position is responsible for supporting the clinical excellence of all rehabilitation services and for supporting the development of programs aimed at meeting quality measures and population health management requirements.
