PEAK POWER SYSTEMS INC Generator Service Technician in MIDDLETOWN, New York
Generator Technician to perform routine preventative maintenance, oil and filter changes, and inspections on generators. Troubleshooting and repair electrical systems on generators, automatic transfer switches, generator controls and engine related mechanical failures.Preferred requirements: experience with diesel and gaseous fueled engines and generators with the ability to troubleshoot and repair. Knowledge and skills for troubleshooting and repairing, control panel interface and programmed logic controls. Prior experience on Generac, Kohler, Caterpillar, Cummins or Onan a plus.The core of our business is maintenance and emergency service to local and state government facilities, mission critical sites, telecommunications services and public utilities. We also service private businesses as well as residential clients. Salary will commensurate with experience and includes prevailing wage work for certified technicians. WE WILL PROVIDE FACTORY TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION TO VIABLE CANDIDATES. There is potential for overtime.
